About Lorne...
Atlanta based Commercial and Fine Art photographer, Lorne Resnick teaches landscape, wildlife, people and travel photography workshops around the world. He also shoots commercial projects on location and in the studio for advertising clients and works on his own fine art images for galleries.
Whether it’s hiking to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, exploring the giant sand dunes of the Grand Erg Occidental in the Sahara, rowing Vietnam’s Mekong Delta or walking Havana’s Old City, his passion for travel and photography keeps him moving around the globe exploring different cultures and countries, capturing unique moments.
A multiple award winner for his commercial and fine art work (in 2005 he won the coveted Travel Photographer of the Year award), he currently has eleven fine art posters published of his travel work. His images have been exhibited in galleries across Europe and America and have been used commercially for annual reports, billboards, television, web sites and for worldwide advertising campaigns.
From his first book of photographs, Live in Concert: 10 years of Rock and Roll, published in 1987, to his latest work-in-progress, fine art coffee table book and film on Cuba, Lorne has always strived to create images that probe beyond the everyday facade to capture the essential meaning and character of his subjects.
Lorne and his experienced crew maintain full commercial global production capabilities at his studio in Los Angeles and can facilitate the flawless execution of commercial photographic projects on any scale. And his capabilities are not merely photographic in scope; Lorne has the vision and experience to be a true collaborator with an understanding of current market language and trends.
